FBCA Mission Statement
Fort Bend Christian Academy exists to glorify God through excellence in college-preparatory Christian education.
Successful schools with healthy school cultures intentionally ground themselves in their missions. Because of this fact, every school meeting begins with the FBCA mission statement. The mission statement is our capstone, our institutional guide and main point of reference. It provides meaning to all that we do and all that we seek to achieve.
Characteristics of Professional Excellence
In its ongoing research, Independent School Management (ISM) analyzes the relationship between “school success and school culture” and the extent to which a school’s mission statement infuses all operations of the school. In order to reveal how truly grounded in its mission a school is, ISM recommends schools develop “Characteristics of Professional Excellence,” a brief list that affirms what the core values and professional ideals are for a school’s faculty.
A cross-divisional committee worked on FBCA’s “Characteristics” throughout the Spring 2017 semester. As you’ll read, the FBCA expression of this cornerstone document embodies the core values of the mission statement.
